Rich Chocolate Avocado Cake
Moist, rich, and delectable this cake is seriously everything a chocolate cake should be – and the secret ingredient…………………………………….avocados!!!!
One of my first, and favourite, reading books growing up was called ‘The Chocolate Cake.’ A chocolate had been baked, and that chocolate cake was such a delicious chocolate cake that every member of the family who tasted said ‘mmmmmmmmmmm’ (especially baby!!!!) and on the final page they all cried ‘more, more, more!!!’
Even though I had never tasted that chocolate cake I had always imagined how it had tasted – moist, irresistible with a divine, rich chocolate flavour!
When I tried this chocolate cake out on my family they too cried ‘more, more, more!!!!’
It’s the perfect chocolate cake for any chocolate fan! Good quality cocoa powder is full of minerals – coupled with the good fats found it avocados here you have a much healthier version of your average chocolate cake.
Plus it just tastes amazing to boot!! It’s the avocados that make it rich, moist and oh so creamy!
I used even more avocado goodness for the frosting – its soooooooo good!!
I hope that you have the time to make and enjoy this cake!!! :)

Chocolate Frosting: 7) Blend the avocado until completely smooth. Stir in the cocoa powder, powdered coconut sugar, maple syrup and powdered vanilla until thoroughly combined. 8) Spread the chocolate frosting over the cooled cake – slice and enjoy!!! :)
